Kansas Department of Revenue does have a Petition for Abatement (PFA) that works similarly to the IRS Offer in Compromise.  The PFA is available for individual taxpayers and businesses to resolve outstanding tax liabilities.  Generally, operating businesses aren’t good candidates for the PFA.

If you or your business can pay your back-tax liability in full within 90 days you may qualify for relief from hefty Collection Fees charged by the state.
